For participants keen to re-examine observations through formative, and not performative, lens, this module will explore expansive and practical ways of using observations developmentally. We will focus  on developing the coaching beliefs, behaviours and skills underpinning such an approach.

In this module, you will be exposed to:

• Current thinking and research in the field of developmental approaches to observation
• Evidence-based approaches to using observation to improve and develop teaching and learning
• Applied skills in developing one’s practice related to reflection and coaching
• A collaborative forum in which to share and exchange ideas for best practice in this area with colleagues from across the FE sector
