touchconsulting Ltd is a small organisation that co-designs and delivers big quality improvement programmes for the education and training profession.
The team at touchconsulting Ltd work exclusively within the diverse post-16 education sector. We work with individuals, teams and organisations to support all practitioners to deliver an excellent educational experience for learners.
Our flagship programmes are deliberately designed to develop the mindset, skillset and behaviours of educational professionals to enact creative and courageous cultural change.
We have an in-depth understanding of our vibrant sector. We know context matters and although there are similar challenges across organisations, there are also very distinct ones.
We love what we do! We passionately believe practitioners – be they learning support assistants, advanced practitioners, middle managers, leaders or governors – deserve the highest quality of CPD design, delivery and follow up. This belief drives our behaviours.
Culture matters. People matter. We work creatively to help practitioners (at whatever level) to develop the conditions which help all staff and learners to thrive, change and develop.
We are a small team based in Burton upon Trent; West Midlands. Joss heads up the team and is supported by Lisa, Alison and Mani. For larger projects we work with associates, freelancers and those currently teaching, assessing and leading in the sector. We secure the bulk of our work by tendering for projects we are passionate about. If you’d like to explore working together do get in touch.
Joss started her career as a coach in financial services. Inspired by the philosophies and practices of coaching as a powerful means of professional development (for both individuals and organisations) she moved into post-16 teaching to fulfil a life-time ambition of bringing coaching into post-16 education.
Joss has set up and run family learning and ESOL community provision, managed work-based learning and entry to employment before starting a freelance career in 2005 with coaching and professional development at its heart.
She leads on all touchconsulting’s programmes.
